I’ve known both Kenzie and Mat for several years now. They are fantastic people that really know how to enjoy life. We had an absolute blast at their wedding and getting to spend they day with them.
This project took us all over OKC to hit the spots we wanted to include in the film. But it made it such a fun project to work on. I can’t wait until we release their short film in a couple weeks. For now, enjoy the trailer!
I sat in Starbucks on New Years Day waiting to meet with a couple for what I thought would be a simple Engagement Film consultation. In walk Jennifer and Josh (Josh looking a little tired from what was probably a great New Years Eve with friends) and we start to get to know each other.
They were having a small wedding in the home of a friend with only about 20 guests in attendance, with a rockin’ reception in downtown OKC. They wanted their party guests to have a feeling they were still a part of the ceremony. I thought the best way to do that, would be to actually show parts of the ceremony. By the time the meeting is done, I discover that somehow we landed on trying to implement parts of a Same Day Edit into their piece. Something I have absolutely NO experience in. Needless to say, that was the plan.
This was by far one of my favorite wedding projects to work on, and it couldn’t have been with better people. Such a unique and creative piece that is a perfect reflection of the love Jennifer and Josh share. I was blessed to have a chance to work on this with them and wish them all the best!
